woww, I just noticed something.
When I look in a very steep inangle above, I could see my windows booting. I could see everything loading well. It just seems that the screen gets really white to a poitn I can't see almost anything.
AlphaKilo470 thanx for helping. I tried to look in maintenance manual but I really can't find the display ribbon under parts list. Sorry
All I can find is LCD cable, is it the same thing?
Mind to give another hint?

I just noticed another thing, from watching in a very steep angle above I've been able to boot my comp.
However, I noticed that a screen comes on and it's written something but I can't read it since it's totally white. When I keep on pressing enter it restarts my computer so in some point its askign em to restart my computer.
This is just pure guess as I can't read anything. This is very frustrating
I'm about to cry

after searching in forum and searching in google, I think my beloved 600E is sufferign from WSOD (White screen of death) but I don't know howe to repair it.

after 1 hour of trying to read what's written on my screen at 180 degree angle above my screen I finally decode what was written:
''You may used the system configuration utility to make changes the way window starts
The system configuration utility is currently in diagnostic or selective startup mode, causing this message to be displayed and the utility to run everytime windows starts.
Choose the normal startup mode on the general tab to start windows normally and undo the changes you made using the system configuration utility.''
I restarted it normally but the problem is still on. yesterday, I read something about increasing your Computer performance by doing some stuff in msconfig. I changed some stuff, could it be because of that?

The display cable is part of the LCD Assembly. Check page 78 of the Hardware Maintenance Manual for instructions on how to get to the LCD Assembly. This will help you get in there and check the connections. It is easier to get to then it seems.
I had a similar problem on a Compaq that I was working on a couple months ago. The problem was that the cable had come loose.

Thanx for helping!
I tried to open my keyboard and I checked the cables like in the page 78.
They are showing 2 cables in page 78 (its circled number 7). I checked those 2 cables and they weren't loose
Did I check the wrong thing? Can the problem be software issue?
I changed some stuff in Msconfig and services.msc whitout knowing much about what I was doing.

7 is the entire display, so than yes, those cables....the same ones that Part #3 (3 screws) connect through.
Another possibility would be to remove the LCD from the display casing and check the connection of the LCD cable on the back of the LCD. This process begins on page 88. This is a more daunting task., though.
