Thinkpad 755cx screen&sound problems...

#1 Post by Nitro » Sun May 14, 2006 6:38 am

About a week ago i got this laptop and i have some problems with it... Help
1.LCD displays wrong colors: everything is blue-like. Example: in DOS-prompt letters should be white, they're blue.
2.I can't get any sound-instaling IBM Mwave drivers and nothing happens. I've heard ther're another unofficial drivers from Miro which can help me but i've can't found them.
Sorry for my bad english :D

Nitro, for starters, look up the greyghost site:

http://greyghost.dyndns.org/pccbbs/

read the big "index" text file at the start

sorry Nitro, I copied that link from somewhere else on this board, and didn't check it.

The Thinkpad stuff, if you go to the link I originally posted, is in the "mobiles" folder, so it is:

http://greyghost.dyndns.org/pccbbs/mobiles/

Then, you'lll have to browze around for the 755 drivers, and also read the "00index.txt" for extra info

the drivers and user guide should all be there in that folder

I think, i should update BIOS for getting mwave work... I've found on this site solution how to flash without battery but it no matches to me: there're different files on diskette than listed, but i'll try. Now, i don't have my laptop then i can't do everything :?
