My 760XD is a 760EL?

I bought a 760XD on ebay and when I received it today it turns out that it's really a 760EL. It says 760XD on the keyboard but the model number on the bottom says 9547-U4G and the BIOS says 11J9245.

It's a nice little computer and it seems to work fine but, it's not what I wanted. It has the P133 CPU, 32MB of RAM, 2.1GB drive, CD and charger. The battery won't hold a charge.

Now I'm trying to figure out what to do with it...

Now it's a 760XD

Ok...no more 760EL. I now have a 760XD to play around with.

I have Win98SE loaded and all of the drivers from the IBM website. I'm still getting a "Add New Hardware" message everytime I boot. It says "PCI Multimedia Video Device" found.

What driver is it looking for? MPEG decoder?
There's nothing showing up with a problem in device manager.

I figured out what the mystery "PCI Multimedia Video Device" needed for my 760XD in Win98SE. It's the IBM MPEG PCI Bridge.
I downloaded it from the pccbbs Greyghost site.
