IBM Thinkpad 390 Recovery CD

Does anyone know if the IBM Thinkpad 390 Recovery CD format the hard drive and then reinstall all the orininal software that came with the laptop including Windows 98? I am loking to start from scratch with the laptop. Thanks

If you use the Product Recovery CD-ROM shipped with your ThinkPad to restore the Windows 95/98 preload environment, you don't need this package. http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site. ... WIK-3ZSTFK
