PC66 RAM that TP 600s recognize in second slot?

I have the same problem with my TP 600 2645 31U that apparantly is a problem in other earlier models. Only half of the 128 RAM chip in the second slot is recognized, leaving me with 224 (including the 32 built in) instead of the 256 I should have.

This RAM is supposed to be PC66, I have sent it back for refund. Does anyone have a source they have personally used for the PC66 RAM that will be detected in these laptops properly?

i used a pc100 256 card in my 600e and it seems to work fine. yesterday i got a 102 error on startup, which im pretty sure is memory. i removed the 2nd card that had been in there for who knows how long, and no more error.

I bought a single SODIMM of 128 mb PC-66 from starmicro.net for $15.00 + 1.31 CA sales tax.
The chips had IBM stamped on 'em. That made me smile :D .
I'm going to order a 2nd stick in a day or 2.
They had poor resellerratings but I decided I'd take a chance (it's only $15). It worked out well, and they shipped them to me in 1 day.
