Will this HardDrive work on a 2645-8PU Thinkpad 600X??

As long as it is PATA, and you have the latest BIOS, it will work.
I couldn't tell for sure if this drive is PATA, SATA or both. The description from the
Manufacturer's website, seems to imply that it has both.
How do I add a BIOS, before I install Windows??

here is the non-diskette version.
Do you know which version BIOS you have? The latest is version ITET55WW (1.11).
It was a ersion in 1999 - Old Version

I have updated the BIOS and install Windows XP Pro SP2, NetGear WG511T, Updated the Config Service Pack(Thinkpad/Utility's), Norton 10.. 46 Window's XP Updates
What else do I need, before I hit a bad sector and have to start over..??
Can I install PCDoctor??
