Thinkpad 390 display problem

#1 Post by rickkman » Tue Jun 27, 2006 5:56 am

I am having trouble with the settings on the display. I looks extremely grainy which it didn't before the clean install. When I use Control Panels the best that I get select is 16 colors, 640 x 480 megapixals, Standard PCI Graphics Adapter VGA, Color Management with no monitor profile. Something is wrong because the monitor looks the colors are washed out with and shadows. Definitely a change from before the clean install.

You didn't say what operating system you installed. Windows 98 or???

You need to download the driver for the graphic card here:

http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site. ... idate=true

Choose your operating system then click the 'continue' button.

Then choose the graphic card driver, for example:

Video driver for Windows 95/98/Me - ThinkPad 390, 172x, 1400 (2611)
