Has anyone tried this?

Older ThinkPads.. from the 600, the 7xx, the iSeries, 300, 500, the Transnote and, of course, the 701

It does look interesting! It seems to be the same size Broadcom card I installed in one of my 600X systems last month. Be sure to ask the seller the dimensions of the card as I accidently bought some other MiniPCI cards that do not fit (yet).

(edit: This link describes the card you referenced. It seems like it is a proprietary design only meant for certain systems.)

I think maybe it's worth the risk buying it it does not cost too much if it don't work it can be resold in ebay.

I have to find first the keyboard for the 600x ( it has been quite difficult to me ) because it is dead and once done with that i will order the card ( I already have the built in antennas and the Intel Pro 2200BG Wireless Mini-PCI Card )
