Can anyone help me in trying to adjust the color of my dispaly. I think the color on my screen is too light with not enough color to it. Is there anyway to adjust the color settings on a 600X?
Thanks

Not really. Try to flip the screen a bit backwards so that you view it at a right angle or above. This should darken the display significantly and make the colors look brighter, less washed-out.
If a wrong screen position isn't the reason for your woes, you could also try to use a different video driver with gamma correction:

This driver (although not provided by IBM) will work fine with all Neomagic MagicMedia chipsets under Windows 2000 and XP (and also on other ThinkPads than the 600X). During installation some of the typical Windows warning messages will pop up, though, and must be ignored.
After successful installation, you'll be able to adjust gamma values under the Neomagic tab in the display properties. This doesn't help a lot, but you might want to try yourself.
I am also told that this driver gives back TV-Out- and Multi Monitor-support on a 600X. So it really might be worth a try if you still don't have that, either.
