600E Trackpoint Gone AWOL - Fix?

My Dad's got a 600E. When he powers on his trackpoint takes a hard left and plants itself against the edge of the screen.

Time for a new keyboard?

How hard is it to replace?

Where can I find the 600E HMM? Had one a million years ago...
