I just saw this MMC-2 850Mhz PIII processor cheap on ebay and i think maybe anyone here might be interested.

Note i am not the seller.

I was watching that. Too bad paypal only. Just a quick question, Its ANY MMC-2 Intel Processor up to 850mhz that fits in the 600 series right? I saw one that was pulled out of a Dell and I was wondering if that could fit into a 600e.

Not just any. Some have supposedly gotten the MMC-2 Celeron cpus to work, but most haven't had success. I would stick with the PII and PIII MMC-2 cpus.

I would only use that cpu on a 600x with speedstep to get the most of it, if you run it in a non speedstep model it will only run at 700mhz.

MMC-2 will fit in ANY 600e or 600x....

Will they work? Thats another question...
