Replacement HD suggestions?

#1 Post by jsuebersax » Mon Aug 14, 2006 7:23 am

I'm considering upgrading the internal HD of my ThinkPad 600 (system details below).

Running W98 SE, can I use a 20 GB, 40GB or larger drive?

Are there any brands to look for or avoid? I notice some
have 6 mo. warranties, while others have 3-year warranties.

If anyone's done this and had good results, please feel free
to say what brand you've got.

Thanks.
John
