Xp install in 390E

#1 Post by cmarti » Wed Aug 16, 2006 6:03 am

I just got a 390E yesterday from ebay machine type number:2626-D0U upgraded the ram to 256 and installed a new hitachi 80gb drive in it, and i been trying to boot from the cd drive with a original Xp pro cd i also got a copy of home edition. I have set the bot sequence in BIOS to first boot from the cd drive then the HD but nothing i get an error that says missing NTDLR or something like that, I also removed the floppy disk and install only the cd drive and nothing any ideas?

Edit: I replaced the cd drive with one from my 600x and that i am sure is working.

What maybe wrong?? :x
