Hi, everyone!

Can anyone tell me where I can get a copy of the
ThinkPad Hardware Maintenance Diskette?

The following is quoted from the TP600 HMM:

When the latest maintenance diskette and the system
program service diskette are available, they will be posted
on:

Unfortunately, the links are now dead. Also, FTP-ing to the
PCC BBS site shows no visible files on an anonymous login.

Also, I can't find any reference to the diskette on the IBM/Lenovo
website.

Can anyone point me to a URL where I can download one? The HMM
says the version should be Version 1.05 or later, but the parts list at the
end of the HMM says Version 1.50. (It is shown at the bottom of the "Tools"
list, but, unlike the other tools listed, it doesn't have a part number).

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the links. Unfortunately, they are both dead.

I actually registered on that site some time back and
I had forgotten about it.

I'll just have to keep searching.

I have the V1.69 and V1.74 version. If you need, PM me your email. I can shoot you a copy.

EDIT: Please do not ask me for the HMD. All people in this forum are just users. I am not a paid technician. And nobody can afford to do sth forever for free. Thanks and sorry.

I was told that 1.74 should not be in public domain. So please keep for your own usage.
