usb sound

#1 Post by chrisvaughan02 » Sun Aug 27, 2006 7:20 pm

I had mentioned my sound issue in the dsp post but I pretty much figured out the dsp problem so I figured I'd ask the sound question in a different post.

I found a usb "soundcard" on ebay and I wonder if I could get some thoughts on it. it's pretty cheap so if it didnt work it would be a cheap lesson to learn but please check it out and let me know if you have any experience with this or what you think:

I am pretty sure that will only work with headphones or external speakers. Sounds interesting :)

I bought one of those and it's a piece of crap. It produces a constant noise on all computers and USB ports I tested and the replacements I received where not better. Well, you get what you pay for...
