I know(?) that this is possible but never found software that works with the DEVA card. Any suggestions?

A search through the forum archives gives some suggestions for this. For example, see:
Video Capture with a 770 Series....
The original Asymetrix video capture software was intended for Windows 95/98, and I don't know if anyone has got it to work under XP.

I don't run WinXp, 9x, ME.... only running 2000 now. I also don't have the original software.
I've been on this forum for years and never remember anything definitive. I will check again.
Thanks.

I did a check of the archives and found nothing new.
- If you run Win 9x (ME?), you can run the original Asymetrix software.
- WinXp has Movie Maker that supposedly works.
- Win2K supposedly has the video capture drivers included but no mention of any application to use.
I tried several 3rd party apps back when I ran Win98 with mediocre results; nothing ran consistantly good. I never was able to get the OEM Asymetrix software.
Let me know if anyone has any suggestions for video capture with Windows 2000.
