Need original firmware for SD-C2202 Dvd (from i1400 2621)

My i1400 2621 had a Toshiba SD-C2202 DVD drive that was the default 1429 firmware and was having problems reading some discs... so I used the 1433 firmware from Ibm:

After I did this, the drive doesn't read anything anymore, it's like I am inserting blank discs. I am testing the drive's ability to be able to read data in both Windows and with a Dos boot disc (every atapi optical drive, period, must work in plain dos).

I am trying to find the original 1429 firmware. If anyone has a 390/i1400/i1500 with the SD-C2202 and can read their original firmware and save it into a .hex file, then I can flash it back to the original one. Stuff like RPC Dvd codes are not important (I won't be watching movies on a Celeron 466). I just want this drive to be able to read data again before the bad flash.

Unless I can use one of the many firmwares found here?
