just joined and question about 600e bios error bypass

#1 Post by Abzstrak » Sun Aug 29, 2004 10:31 pm

All I can say i thank God I found a forum for thinkpads ;-)

now, to it,

I have a 600E that I've popped in a 650MHz celeron 2, a 7200rpm 40GB HDD, and a hacked dvd/cdrw drive.

anyway, everything runs well, except for the stinkin bios error on boot up (the 127) due to the 650MHz cpu. I can of course bypass it every boot, but that gets old... anyone hacked a bios to ignore it?
