Can I use a spare 600E keyboard/trackpoint for desktop?

I have an extra keyboard/trackpoint assembly and I was wondering if there is a way to convert it for use as a PS/2 keyboard and mouse.
A lot of people seem to agree with me in thinking that the 600E keyboard is very nice and easy to use, so I'd hate to waste a spare one. :)

Thanks!
I've heard of people doing this before with other laptop keyboards, so I was wondering if I can do it with this one. And I'm sure I'm not the only one with an extra keyboard lying around.

Effectively, I had one a while ago, with other spare parts of my previous TP600. A friend of mine bought the whole package.

Yeah, those are pretty sweet. 'Tis a shame that they're so expensive, though. :?
