A ThinkLight in a TP 600E : Is that possible ?

Older ThinkPads.. from the 600, the 7xx, the iSeries, 300, 500, the Transnote and, of course, the 701

A ThinkLight in a TP 600E : Is that possible ?

#1 Post by WarMachine » Sat Dec 02, 2006 3:36 am

Hi ! ;)

Topic for the TP McGyvers !

Eve'rything is in the title. :P

Nobody seems to have tried to stick a ThinkLight in a 600E yet. :(

What do you think about that ? Would it be difficult to realize ?

I have seen a TP with a system of light under the bezel, or something like that, but I'm more interested in the ThinkLight system.

:)

Thx Cure !!!

That was exactly what I was searching ! I have no knowledge in electronics, and it's in english... but it doesn't seem to be a too difficult thing to do. :o

@ Tom : The USB light means I must use an USB port, and the 600E has only one, which can be more useful, connecting an HDD or whatever... The goal is to have the light included to the laptop, a clone of the ThinkLight.

I don't know if I'll make my own mod, but it's nice to see that it is possible, and that an How-To exists. :o

Thx. :)
