#1 Post by cmarti » Thu Feb 01, 2007 11:37 pm

I got this 600X from a friend and the hardrive failed, i replace it it a new working one installed XP pro on it and when i try to power on the laptop all i can get is a blinking line on the left top of the screen. I have tried changing the boot sequence in the BIOS and also initialize but no luck i tried with another drive and same thing, any ideas? :??:

I got it fixed.

In the change the start sequence to
1-cd drive
2-floppy drive
3-hd-1

and now it's working like a charm.
