Weird, 1141-8UK isn't on the Lenovo site, and 1141 isn't even in the tiwbook! Is this the laptop that you have?

Dell OptiPlex 9010 SFF (Core i3-3220 / 8GB / 8TB); HP 8300 Elite minitower (Core i7-3770 / 16GB / 9.25TB)

The one on the link seems the right laptop.
Yeah that's the Type listed on it, the Serial Number is AB-A29D1
Some othe info on the machine is has 300mhz cpu the floppy drive then CD-Rom on the right side with a LCD Panel with CD track play/pause and stop/eject at the front. Hope this gives a slightly better description.

There are foreign models out there (ie. not made for the US) that do not show up on tiwbook, or the US link for Lenovo... because they aren't US versions.

I knew that because the model number ends with "UK", so I looked for it on Lenovo's UK site. Couldn't find it.

Another thought....does the thinkpad work? If so, you can look it up automatically on Lenovo's website, using the "Detect my System" feature.

I tried on Detect my system and is not reconised, as at some point it must have had a clean install of Win ME put on, I have since upgraded the memory and put XP on it, could not do the install of XP clean could only manage a "dirty" install on top ME but am trying get the LCD panel with the four CD buttons working, is this part common to any other machine that I could get driver for it.
Also the battery 02K6526 I have is dosen't hold a charge and wonderded if there are utilties or tips.

Thanks
