Thinkpad 770 Boot From USB

Thinkpad 770 Boot From USB. Is ther any way to set up the Thinkpad 770 to boot windows off the USB drive. There is a port but I haven't found any way to set up USB as a boot drive.

No you can't. I think that the first model to have the ability to boot from USB was the T30. (and any equivelent model from the different series)

You have to remember when these computers were made, there were no USB drives available, so a USB boot option would be pointless. I would like to have a computer than can boot off usb. Would make live Linux so much better!

My old X21 wouldn't boot from USB, so it doesn't surprise me that your 770 doesn't have the option, either.
