systemsoft cardwizard alternative ?

#1 Post by parangles » Sat Feb 17, 2007 2:33 pm

Every time I reboot my 560X, I have to remove and reinsert the wireless card for it to be recognised. Its the same with every brand/model card I've tried. The software is for 95 and I am running 98SE. Could that be the problem ? Any solution ?
Thanks !

Wireless cards are newer than Windows 98, so it is entirely possible that Windows 98 doesn't recognize the card exactly properly. Oddly enough, I have a similar problem with my Sony-Ericcson card in my XP laptop. It is recognized and appears to work from start up but will not connect. I have learned to leave the card out of the machine until it has started fully, then insert it. That is probably a problem with the card firmware. ... JD Hurst
