TP 760ed Easy setup program questions.

#1 Post by Claes » Mon Feb 19, 2007 12:11 pm

Hi,
In my TP 760ed Easy Setup Program there is a Start-up where i am able to set up the order in which the defferent devices should start-up.

I can found the following devices:
FDD-1, FDD-2, Network, HDD-1, HDD-2, HDD-3, HDD-4 and PCMCIA.

But I can not find my CD/DVD-reader.
I suppose that this means that I can´t define that device in the start-up sequence or can it be that it is covered under one of the other defined devices?

I only have one HDD and one CD/DVD drive in my laptop and of course one FDD.

My main question is about why the CD/DVD device not is defined.

Thanks for your help.

/Claes :)

Hi,
Thank you for your answer.
I have already intalled the utility that you are reffering to and have the following problem.

When opening the PC Card slot I am not able to enable the CardBus and not able to change the IRQ.
Do not understand why.
Can you give me any help on that?

My Windows is Windows 98 and not 98SE. Can this be my problem?

Hi,
I have checked the the device mgr and found that my cardbus is installed (connected) direct to the "Network adapters" and not to the "Texas Instruments PCI-1130 Cardbus Controller".

Any idea about this?
