wireless network card for my 380xd

I'm a noob at wireless networking so any help would be appreciated...
I'm trying to get my hands on a card with a 802.11g standard that will work on my Thinkpad 380xd. It has PCMCIA 2.1. I have found cards that are 2.1 but they also say they require a 2.2 PCI interface. Could someone help me out on how I can find out what PCI interface I have?
