LCD replacement 380d

Help! My trusted 380D had the LCD fail. I have the replacement part, but can not seem to dissamble the thing. I have removed the 8 screws at the bottom, but no luck getting it apart. Any ideas? Is this impossbile?

This is the best I could find. Check page 104.
