Is it at all possible to change the Hand dominance on a transnote? Like just flipping the computer and notepad around?

Or once you got one, is it like that for good?

Let me rephrase....

Can you switch a right-handed transnote into a left handed one?

I suppose the world will just never know.......or everyone else does, and I'll be left in the dark. Well, I guess I could always become ambidexterous.

Believe it or not, they actually manufactured transnotes for left and right handed people. If you can flip it around :?: AKAIK I don't believe so because the electronics run through the "cover".

Geez, dude, they wait at least a day for me to respond to messages at work and they're PAYING me. How about going forward you wait 24 hours before bumping your messages?

In answer to your question: nope, you can't just swap sides, as all the hardware is oriented to one direction. It used to be you could get the hardware to change them, but it's been too long since the model was current. While Google with turn up some vendors, they won't have stock. I discovered this when I tried to upgrade one of my t-notes from Endurimer to Leather.

Well according to the HMM and the Lenovo-site there used to be specific kits to switch from left to right handed and vice-versa.
There are two connectors on the back of the "notebook part" of the Transnote labeled "L" and "R".
As far as I can remember from the pictures you neet the frame for the digipad and the penholder, at least.

Yes, the kits are the hardware I was referring to; some places you Google claim to stock them, but none actually do. IIRC, you get a new case with the pen holder on the other side and the mounting hardware for the computer and ThinkScribe pad reversed. The lefties pop up on eBay occasionally, but they're rare. Might be worth asking on the forum for www.transnote.info. That's the largest collection of t-note owners around.

Forgive me for my persistance, but I'm looking at a few options at the moment, and the longer I wait, the closer the window comes to closing on these options.

I'm not attacking anyone, and I'm not trying to be an [censored], I'm just in a bit of a rush.

Once again my apologies.

To everyone else, and you, epbrown, thank you for your replies, I'm going to need to do some research to see if such a kit still exists or is available.
