Thinkpad 570 CPU type?

What CPU type does the TP 570 use? MMC? Can I put a P-III in it?
Unfortuneately not. The 570 CPU is soldered on the system board.
It is BGA instead of MMC.
Your only option was (if you like the 570 design) to go for a 570e with built in PIII.
