CMOS Battery for a 770z

#1 Post by jon42689 » Fri Jun 01, 2007 10:12 am

Does anyone know exactly where the CMOS battery is in a TP770Z? If so, how do I get to it in the case?

I don't want to just tear it apart if I don't know what I'm doing.

The CMOS battery is easy arrvable. It is in the same area as the memory modules. Means that you only have to loose only one screw on the bottom. This screw holds one nearly quadratic cover.

Thanks. I found it.

It solved the 163 or 173 or whatever errors I kept getting where I had to set BIOS settings again every time I turned the machine on.
