Windows 95:
SoftMPEG or something like that

Windows 98/2000/XP:
Mediamatics DVDExpress (which versions?)

Then in addition to these, you may be able to use:

Windows 2000:
Microsoft Media Player (which versions?) - using built-in Win2000 MPEG driver for the DEVA card.

Windows XP:
Maybe the same as Win 2000, but I've not verified this.

Thanks. Do you have any Idea, where i can get this Mediatics player?
I've googled and found nothing.
I've checked lenovo support, but there's only the mediatics player update, which says that you have prev. version MUST be installed.

That would be only available on the IBM Software Selections CD that came with Thinkpads; you will need to find one of those CDs

An ISO of the DVDExpress CD that shipped with the 770 series is available on the Thinkpads.com FTP Resource page. Once installed, you can then upgrade to the version recommended for your model.

Note that IBM/Lenovo provides different updates to the DVDExpress program depending on whether you have a 770 or a 600 series machine. The 600 series update will give you a later version than the 770 update, but I am not sure if the 600 series version is still compatible with the 770 DEVA card, so I always just use the recommended 770 update.

And, by the way, the update is VERY important whichever one you decide to choose: without an update, the original DVDExpress has a number of serious playback issues with certain kinds of disks.
