600X / Matshita UJDA720 all OK with Win2000 BUT.....

#1 Post by Robin Mutoid » Thu Jun 07, 2007 4:37 pm

...the same drive in the same machine will not even allow XP to boot! Has anyone got any bright ideas as to where this 'glitch' may lie and if so, whether there is anything sensible that can done about it? Player Firmware is V.1.0.

The player is a DVD/CD-RW, is in good condition and funtions well in all respects under Win2000 (having loaded DirectX 9 and WinDVD 6). XP however just doesn't want to know! I'd rather run XP SP1 than 'go back' to Win2000 as an OS....

Also.. has anyone got a spare 'TV out' cable for the 600X?

With Thanks..
