Amber light on SlimBay insert

#1 Post by The Olde Man » Thu Jun 14, 2007 12:48 pm

I have a 600(2645-45U)

The amber light on the SlimBay insert (3.5 floppy) stays on all the time even though there is no floppy in it.

This makes me uneasy.

Should it?

That amber light will always be on as long as the system is running. Only when the system is off or in Standby will that light go off. Nothing to worry about.
I have finally rejoined the dark side.

Thanks. I have had the rig for several years and for some weird reason, this is the first time I have noticed it.
