390x battery issues

#1 Post by k2_kid » Mon Oct 18, 2004 4:08 pm

Ive just got (a few dyas ago) my 390x, but i think i have a problem. its a "proffesionaly" refurbished laptop (BT) but i think i may have a dud battery. i left it plugged in (with the loight above the battery symbol orange) for about 9 hours, but when i turned my latop on at college, it was dead in less that 2 minutes. is there somthing i have to press or activate to charge the battery? please help, if its a dud battery i need to find out soon, cuz i only have 1 months warranty.

Either the charger is bad, which it obviously is not if your computer turned on while plugged in, so I'd call up tech support and ask them about that battery.
