wireless capability on 390X

#1 Post by rmplayer » Tue Jul 17, 2007 4:11 pm

I would like to know what kind of LAN hookup is available for the 390x?
Can you can install a wireless pcmcia card in a 390x?

If so what and where would you find a driver or would it come with a special card.

Any kind of PCMCIA wireless card should work. You can download the driver appropriate for the operating system you're using from the manufacturer's site or www.driverguide.com.

I would recommend a Xircom card for LAN and a 3Com X-Jack card for WLAN. They both sit flush in the cardbus slot so there is nothing sticking out. They also both work really well.
