lcd display for Thinkpad 390X 2626-JNU

I have just installed a LAN card for a 390X and find that the color in the display makes the pictures look washed out. Is there a color control or a better driver that will give brighter colors.

It depends which OS you are using.

The IBM site has drivers for Windows (the NT/Win 2K one works for XP)

Richard
Dell Inspiron 7500 (PIII 450MHz 512Mb)
IBM 390X (PII 400MHz 256Mb)
IBM 390E (PII 333MHz 256Mb)
All soon to be upgraded :)

color definition

#3 Post by rmplayer » Sat Aug 04, 2007 12:34 pm

I have been to the Lenovo site and got the driver for Thinkpad general. This laptop now has neomajic 1600 X 1200 LCD but to use the higher color definition True color (24bit) I am using 1024 X 768. I see that there is a color management tab on the upper menu but the other color packages don't seem to create any improvement. If there was a driver download that would give True color (32bit) it might help.
Any suggestions or addresses
