We'd need a little more info to answer. What kinds of things are you trying to do that you're having problems doing? Browse the web, watch movies, play games, what??

I was able to install the Medimatics player and have it play very smoothly (although I still had to lower all the settings, which is fine because at 24-bit little blue men pop out :P ).

Some have suggested MPlayer, although I have not tried this solution. Windows Media Classic is also a choice, but maybe do to the oldness of my own 600Es (like the first models), this hasn't run well on my system.

There was a patch in the original IBM mediamatics DVDexpress loading for the 600E to turn color down to 256 and resolution to 640x480! Surprisingly, it looked fine playing back DVDs!

What OS are you using and what software are you having problems with?

www.oldversion.com has older versions of a LOT os software. I still use Adobe 5 (much faster than 8!) even on my T60.
