what should I do?
what should I do?
I have an thinkpad with one usb port and two pcmcia slots. The plastic part of the usb port snapped off so now I can't use that. Then my computer wouldn't start up for a couple of days. When I eventually got the laptop to start my pcmcia cards are not being recognized anymore. I now have no way to connect to the internet as I don't have an ethernet port either. I am in need of serious help. Should I:
Find a way of fixing the pcmcia ports?
Get a new pcmcia port?
Get someone to fix the usb port?
or
Find another way to connect to the internet?
Any help would be much apprecieated.

On a 390E...
If there's no possibility of photographing the site, only a 390E owner who knows what this looks like might be able to help.
It is very difficult to tell exactly where this is and how it looks from the information in the HMM. If you could provide a picture of the damage it would be easier to say what if anything could be done to repair it. At the moment, I really don't know what you mean by "the plastic part of the usb port".The plastic part of the usb port snapped off so now I can't use that.
