ThinkPad 600 E/X Video TV Out Question

Hello Everyone:

I have a ThinkPad 600X that has a three conductor video/TV output jack on the right side of the case. I also have a cable that has two RCA-type plugs and what looks like an S-Video jack on it.

My question is what software is needed to play video the 600E/X through this adapter on a television/monitor that has composite or S-Video input?

Also is this a bi-directional port where I can feed video and audio into the 600E/X and capture it? If yes what software can be used for this purpose?
