HELP..I need a quick answer please

I am looking at buying a used 600E online ( Not Ebay) and it has a thin vertical red line on the display..anyway my thinking is that it may be corrected simply by reseating the video cable on the back of the LCD...anyone here ever had this happen to them and is my theory correct?

Sorry that this answer probably wasn't the quick answer that you were looking for, but....

The answer is: sometimes. I have had this happen and had it be the cable that needed to be reconnected. I have also seen that the cable was bad. And unfortunately, I have seen that the LCD needed to be replaced.
