Make low screen resolution fill screen

Ealier this year with the help of this very site I succesfully re-formatted & re-installed Win98 on my Old Thinkpad 600.

When I select the screen resolution 1024x768 this fully fills the screen, when I select lower resolutions, the display takes up a correspondingly smaller part of the screen.

I believe I have the latest drivers installed, but any details/links to confirm this are always welcome.

Basically what I'm asking is it possibel to have a low res screen (e.g. 640 x 480) fully fill my screen?

Go into the BIOS and enable HV expansion.

No, there's no such option for the 600 series. fn+F8 does it. (If not F8, it's one of the other unmarked F keys.)

Yep, it's Fn+F8. It's not pretty though.

Chhers All,

Fn + 8 worked just right!

As this wasn't one of the marked keys is there a list available of all the Fn Keys?

Download a copy of the Hardware Maintenance Manual from:

http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site. ... SYPX2.html

and look on page 29.
