I'm sure this a dumb question, but humor me, if you will:
The battery pack in my 600 has begun to show the now-infamous "sudden discharge" problem.
Surprisingly, this thing is about 21 months old - not bad for something that isn't used continuously. I usually try to run the battery all the way down before charging, but I have on occasion not done so. I suspect that may have had something to do with this popping up.
Anyhow, since it IS nice to have a battery that works, I have been looking for a reasonably-priced replacement pack. I plan to keep the old one and see if I can manage to have a few words with its brain and straighten it out.
If I can persuade the current pack to "get its head screwed back on straight", I will have two fully operational packs (three, if I ever get around to finishing the dissasembly on the completely dead one and replacing the cells). Hence, my question:
What sort of regimen do folks with multiple batteries use - particularly when the computer isn't used every day? Some sort of rotation?
Thanks,
Rob
