need 240 keyboard - any layout welcome

#1 Post by ltp » Sun Nov 11, 2007 2:10 pm

Hi all,

the keyboard of my 240 does not work properly anymore. First, the trackpoint gave up, I used an external mouse. Now the keys stop working beginning from the left side of the keyboard (no tab, no left shift, no q, ...).

I think there is no other cure than replacing it - however, where to get? Here in Germany they are really scarce, I've been watching ebay for month already.

Maybe somebody in this forum has an idea ...

Regards, Heiko.

look up the FRU number and then see if it is available as a replacement part..
(very likely)

then order one..

iif you have a friend in the US i'm sure they will be helpful and can accept it for you and send it on to you in europe..
