600E problem

I have just installed a W98 Factory Recovery in my TP 600''E'...
I have a 10G HDD in it, but it only installs up to 2 G.... with 8 remaing in drive 'D'.... how do I install in Drive 'D'???

Or, how do I remove the partittion to make it all one drive????

You can use partition magic to make 1 big drive but there are problems with hibernation if you do this. Why not keep the "D" drive separate from the C: drive (for data, music, etc).

Okay, but how do I install things like Works 2000 on 'D' drive.
How do I install anything on 'D' drive???

When you install just about any program, a dialogue box appears (sometime during installation - usually fairly early on) asking you where you want to put the program - as a general rule it asks if the chosen location is valid, if not click 'something' to modify the destination.

I would suggest loading the CD, click on 'Install' and see what it asks...you can always abort the install and start again if you get it wrong.
