"Dollar Tree" a store chain in the East and maybe other places sells everything for a dollar plus tax. And one of the things they sell is the three major types of USB cable, 5' long.

And they work.

They work ok, as I just yanked an extra long cord from my printer while vacuuming. My new best friends are ZIP TIES to tidy things up.
