To my surprise; it was much faster then I thought in booting up like 18 seconds. It suppose to have a 20GB 5400rpm hard drive and CD ROM with 448mb memory.
The size is just right and I been cleaning it up and it really does look new now! Have it on the AC to see if the battery holds any juice. Light is blinking; I think it indicates charging?
Have users manual and will go over it in the next couple of days!
That about it; waiting for the 256mb module, new battery, DI-624 router and deciding upon eitherToshiba 4Xdvd burner $135 or Toshiba DVD CD-RW for around $62.00.
I am looking at bidding on a IBM a/b/g wireless adopter cardbus or D-Link DI660 a/b/g Premier cardbus. Budget no more then $70.00
I will change the hard drive to the new Toshiba 7200 2.5" 16meg cache as soon as it is available in quality and at a discount! Budget not more then $250.00 including labor.
GOT MY THINKPAD 600X TODAY!
