600X LCD SCREEN demensions in millmeters!

#1 Post by HarryWild » Thu Nov 18, 2004 3:50 am

I used a tape measure to get the demension of the 600X screen.

Here is what I got:

Width: 10 3/4
Height 8 1/16

Does anyone have any technical manual that actually saids the demensions in millmeters?

If you do please post!

Thanks.

monty cantsin,

I found a post on the T Series that caught my interest about a film for LCD screens that make a screen like the Sony X-Brite technology. The link is shown below for your interest:

Harry, I can't help but think that you're just about to ruin your beautiful ThinkPad computer!

lol, shiny displays for cool people or what ?

the first time i saw that "mirror"-displays i thought back about 20 years.
my friends and i were camping with the good old c64, a small tv and an automobile-batterie, the reflection on the screen was a pain in the eye, you couldn' even see what was going on there and now ppl buy displays that do reflect ?!?! i think there are also filters to prevent that shiny reflections.

one more thing, is your daily newspaper also all shiny so you have to be inside a not to bright room that you can read it ??? i dont think so....

anyway good luck with it
