For a TH 2645 4A0 bought a CD-Rw/& DVD but not recogni

Sometime the Yellow Light of the new CD/DVD is on ,but not working at all.
Replce the new cd/DVD with old CD and all is working as usual in the old configuration.
Seems Like I need a BIOS Update ( I have the last one) or
is the new piece the CD/DVD the problem maker ?
Any idea or experiance ??

When i upgrade the drive of my 600X from cd to a dvd/cdrw drive it game me problems aligning the connector when you insert the drive in the bay.
Are you sure it's not the same problem? Try removing some screws and push it back to see if it works.
