Is the 240X PCMCIA slot 32-bit cardbus compatible?

Is the 240X PCMCIA slot 32-bit cardbus compatible?

#1 Post by catback » Thu Jan 17, 2008 9:28 am

Hi,

I haven't been able to find an answer to this after some searching on the net. I do know it's Type-II compatible though I don't think that necessarily means it's 32-bit cardbus compatible. I would like to install a wireless-g card in this slot.

Also, can anyone point me to any sort of FAQ for the 240/240X line of laptops if one exists? I would like to know what features came standard and what were options.

Thanks!

Welcome to the Forum!

It's 32bit. Have you been to this link; here?

There is a Hardware Maintenance Manual to download about midway down the page.
