Replace 770X 13.7" w/ 14.1" screen? Possible?

Replace 770X 13.7" w/ 14.1" screen? Possible?

#1 Post by Tarkus » Tue Nov 30, 2004 1:06 pm

Does anyone have experience changing a 13.7" screen on a 770x to a 14.1" screen? I know, I know -- the 13.7" is a much better screen, but it's just doesn't do it for me. So -- is it possible?

Many thanks in advance.

It should be possible, if the connector is the same, but before doing this, you'll need to replace the BIOS on your ThinkPad with one that supports the bigger screen.
ThinkPad T60: 2GHZ CD T2500, 3gb RAM, 14.1" XGA, 60gb 7k100, Win 7 Ult
Latitude E7250: i5 5300U 2.3ghz, 12gb RAM, 12" 1080p touch, 256gb SSD, Win 10
